Sukitei Yoshitora — Restaurant in Kawagoe

Horrible experience, we walked all the way here before opening hours and waited out in the cold just to be told on opening that the entire restaurant is fully booked till 1.30pm.

First of all, the staff saw us waiting outside the shop several times but didn't make the effort to tell us about this fully booked restaurant to save our time. The staff wasn't even apologetic in telling us that the whole restaurant was fully booked, she merely just waved us off.

Secondly, how can a whole restaurant just be fully booked without allowing any walk-ins? At least have some notice so that patrons...

川越の観光客用の無料駐車場からも歩いてさほどかからない程度の距離にある。店頭には駐車スペースはあるが、数台停められる程度の広さなので、観光を兼ねて行くなら無料のに停めてゆっくりした方が良いかもしれない。入り口は一つだがその先で料亭とすき焼きおお店と別れている。すき焼きの方へ今回は行ってみた。平日の12時前くらいに入ったが満席だった。しかしわずかの待ち時間で通された。週末などは混雑しているのだろう。予約の札がおいてあるテーブル席もあった。ランチメニューは1500円程度から。今回は3000円のすき焼き定食を頼んでみた。食事を頼んだ客はコーヒー500円のところを200円で頼めるようだ。少しすると席にいろいろ用意してくれ、やがて食材が運ばれてきた。自分で肉や野菜を入れていくシステム。スープは味濃いめにされているので、自分でお好みに薄めていく。お肉は柔らかく、美味であった。意外に小食の自分でも残さず食べきることができた。ごはんのおかわりは無料との事。店内の雰囲気も落ち着いていて良かった。店員さん一人で店内を切り盛りしているので、タイミングによっては対応も遅くなるかもしれないが、そんなことはどうでも良くなるほどの雰囲気。支払いはぺいぺいが電子マネー...

Lunch Sukiyaki Bento actually is very good… Not so much customers during lunch hour. Is a good restaurant with reasonable price … not as most “Bad” review...
