Started out as an Indian restaurant, now they've expanded to include Thai-style curry amongst others. Great place to explore outside your traditional curries, including curry doria. Still haven't found that perfect dish, but with great service, totally understand why this place is so popular!

マヤレストランは、川崎市中原区のJR武蔵小杉駅の北口から歩いて5分のところにあるインド・ネパール料理店です。

愛犬対応状況ですが、屋根付きテラス席なら可能です。店内は不可です。しっかりしたビニールカーテンも用意されているため、降雨時でも利用は可能です。また暑い日でも北向きの店舗のため、極端に気温は高くならず、盛夏でも何とか利用は可能です。なお今回は、ちびわんを伴わずに訪店いたしました。

今回注文したのは、マヤスペシャルターリセット（1200円）で、これにチーズナン変更（200円増）を行いました。内訳は、ランチメニューから三種のカレーを選択し、それにナン・ライス・ミニキャベツサラダ・ドリンク・シークカパブ・チキンティッカ・フルーツヨーグルトという設定です。注文してすぐに、ミニキャベツサラダ（胡麻ドレッシング）とドリンク（ラッシーを選択）が、そしてそれに遅れること数分でカレー・チーズナン等が登場です。今回カレーは、キーマ・ダル・マトンカレーを選択し、辛さは1辛（普通の辛さは0.5辛）としました。チーズナンは、チーズ控えめであっさりタイプでした。単体で食べるよりも、カレーと食べた時の相性を重視した作りで、カレーの良さを引き立てるタイプのものでした。マトンカレーは、どっしりとして臭みのない肉が入っていて、食べ応えの高い作り。キーマカレーは、コッテリした味わいで、ナンよりも付属のミニライスと食べると一層美味しくいただけました。ダルカレーは、もってりとして、そして素朴な味わいで、これだけで食べてしまっても良いのでは？と思わせる美味しさでした。シークカパブは、クセになるハーブ感で、しろくまんの好きなタイプでした。なおミニデザートのフルーツヨーグルトは、極めて甘いので注意が必要です。なお、ランチタイムはライスとナンはおかわり無料にて、最初のミニライスとナンでは足りなければ、追加が頼めます。とは言っても、マヤスペシャルターリセットは相当な量なので、おかわりが必要になる方は少数派かと思います。次回はプラオのセットを注文してみようと思います。
