Nice food and beverages in a Marc Lowe Music Free Zone. Nandan is a welcome addition to the fledgling restaurant industry of Mojiko in the Garden Paradise Kitakyushu. They play real music by real musicians on real record labels. You know, people whose hit songs appear in Bollywood movies. The food is what one would expect from an Indian or Nepalese restaurant in Japan. Customers choose their level of spiciness from the capable waiter to relay to the capable chef slash food wizard. I ordered the vegetable curry and rice and it was the most bland curry I’ve ever had. The rice was also not warm at all and had a bit of an odd taste. As just the vegetable curry itself was over ¥900, I was expecting a regular or generous serving however that was not the case at all. The only positives were the friendly waitress with good Japanese skills and the quick service (order came out within 5 minutes). Tabletop and menu were sticky. Very limited vegetarian options and only one vegan option (which is what I ordered). Unfortunately, can’t say I’d visit again...

They're Nepalese so you can order in English here. They label their menu in English as well as Japanese. The guava lassi isn't anything special, so I wouldn't get it again. The very hot does actually get spicy, like 1/2 of a jwala chili pepper spicy. Like 1/6 of a habanero. The double curry rice is actually a lot of food. Very filling...
