We stopped here due thanks to the reputation of 焼きカレー in this area, as well as the very reasonable price. Despite the fact that we arrived later in the evening for dinner, the cafe was comfortably full due to its popularity with locals.
We got a small table, but the cafe master very quickly reseated us once a larger table was open. Hot tea was available as a self service, which was really nice.
The 焼きカレー was very delicious. Beneath the layers of cheese, there were generous pieces of beef, bacon, hard boiled egg, and other surprises. Well-balanced flavors, with fresh fried onions on top.
Do yourself a favor & visit here if you’re traveling. It’s a perfectly located near the historic district.
