Minato House is a souvenir shop that mainly sells Kitakyushu products. For tourists, this may be the best place to buy souvenirs. Firstly, most of the Moji Port specialized souvenirs are selling in this shop. You can buy all the products you want in one place. Secondly, this shop has a tax-free counter which can help tourists save some money.

Minato House houses a cafe and souvenir shop as well as a handicraft workshop. You will definitely pass by on your way to the Retro Observation Deck.

They have kindly recommended top souvenirs from Kitakyushu and the banana chocolate bolts and nuts make a return here. (First seen at Mojiko Station Lawson).

So I think this place is best for tourists because they have free wifi, accept cards + tap-to-pay, and have a tax-free counter so you don't have to pay VAT, if you're trying to skirt that. There's a lot more staff at the counters here than other places. The goods are more Mojiko specific so there's definitely...
