Sangirou Saryou KAITO — Restaurant in Kitakyushu

This place is execeptional! We tried to book their headquarter but full. Via the headquarter, we booked here. We tried the $260/person Nippon fugu banquet in New York City and had very good experience. We did not expect this restaurant's $110/person meal beats that 9 miles away!

The services was warm. We arrived 30mins early. The manager and the waitress happily toured the building with us and described it with a translation machine.

Their fried fugu head refortified its no.1 ranking of fried food in our hearts, while the fugu congee was the best congee I have ever had in my life. The manga, food chanlenge is right, fried fugu head was one of the best fried food in the world.

I finally had a taste of Sarpir-maṇḍa (醍醐之味) by having the fugu sperm.

いまは完全予約制(前日まで)でランチとディナー、夕方までは喫茶としても利用できます。 食べログで予約しました。

とらふぐフルコース【月】（つき） 先付　ふぐ皮煮凝り 椀物　季節の椀物 御造り　ふぐ刺し・ふぐ皮ぽん酢 揚げ物　ふぐ唐揚げ お鍋　ふぐちり鍋 御飯物　ふぐ雑炊 甘味　白玉あずき 甘味と一緒にお抹茶も注文しました。

素敵な空間で美味しいふぐ料理。 よい思い出になりましたよ。

お部屋には呼び鈴がないので、ゆっくりのんびり焦らず。 お時間に余裕を持ったほうがよさそうです。

食後、せっかくなので建物を見学させていただきました。 もともとは江戸末期に創業した高級料亭。 出光興産創業者の出光佐三氏など多くの著名人・文化人が通っていたそうです。(料亭は1955年に廃業) この木造三階建ては1931年に施工され、いまは有形文化財として登録されています。 九州最大級の木造三階建ての建築物。 見学するだけでも価値はあります。
