天ぷら恵 — Restaurant in Kobe

Visited Tempura Mikage (天ぷら 恵) with my wife. From the moment we entered, the clean and warm atmosphere left a strong impression. We were welcomed with such thoughtful hospitality from the owner that our dining experience far exceeded expectations.

The owner kindly explained the seasonal ingredients and recommended a selection of tempura dishes. Each item was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, preserving the natural flavor of the ingredients. The balance between the seafood and vegetables was both elegant and creative, leaving a delightful harmony in every bite.

What stood out the most was the owner’s recommendation of sake and plum wine that paired perfectly with the tempura. The combination of the rich, savory flavors of the food and the clean, smooth taste of the drinks elevated the entire meal.

Not always a random hidden find turns out good but what an exception this was. Best tempura that we’ve had by far - clean tasting, well seasoned, great variety of good quality ingredients.
