Read more(Pre-booking needed for tour). My wife and I went on a sake tasting spree in Nadagogo, and Shushinkan Fukuju is for sure the most informational, at least easier to diggest.
It is a simple 9-minute video followed by a 3 minute walk to see the factory, but in the tasting part they properly explain the difference between the Junmais, Ginjos, Daiginjos, etc.
The other 4 sake breweries we visited were also fun, but this was straightforward, clear, and more non-japanese-speaking friendly.
We bought the famous Junmai Daiginjo. Bring passport for tax free, and do yourself via train from Osaka, is very easy.

Read moreSelf-tour is possible, just need to get the Hanshin Tourist Pass (500yen) for unlimited Hanshin train ride and you will be able to explore all sake breweries around the area. Cheap and convenient! 9mins walk from Ishiyagawa station.
However this brewery does not offer tour (it was closed and maybe reservations may be needed? No information was given). The restaurant only opens during lunch and dinner, so visiting in the afternoon means no entrance to the restaurant as well.
Some tour groups were there so the place is packed and the staffs are busy entertaining the groups. Sake tasting is free, some award winning sake as well.
