Alchemy, Kobe — Restaurant in Kobe

Finally went to Bar Alchemy and what a fantastic introduction to this awesome bar in Kobe! The owner Paul is a cool cat who knows how to entertain his customers while entertaining himself!! The bartenders Doren and Damian are awesome and make some really cool and creative cocktails. The food was great too…we practically tried the entire menu including the popcorn and everything was 👌 Kudos to the chef! The vibe of the bar was rocking the day we went. Two bands…The Finesse (USA)and Shame Magic (Kobe) played and both were fantastic. The bar is super great for international travelers. The interior is bustling with helpful staff fluent in a variety of languages. They have a really great variety of drinks and on weekends they have live music. The talent they bring in on weekends seems super incredible. They also serve food with a new rotating menu every day. The night I was there, a French chef was in the kitchen cooking beef bourguignon. The portion was small but the beef was definitely in good hands because it tasted as succulent as the sauce it was simmering in and it wasn’t...

I googled "fun bars Kobe" and this place popped up first. True to the description! Super fun super chill place with amazing rooftop bar and the owner Paul and Bar Manager Jacob really made us feel welcome and comfortable. They have great local beers and good booze selection. Didn't try the food but I have a reason to again. Best part is the mix of tourists, expats, and Japanese locals that makes for a really cool vibe. This place is pretty special.
