A highly rated,quaint restaurant which did not dissapoint! Having waited for 20 mins to get a table for 2,the wait was worth it! They offered 2 to 3 set meals with their ルーローハン rice bowl being the most popular item! We ordered Lu Rou Fan and エビチリ 定食. The meals came with several side dishes,with the 油淋鶏 (Yurin Chicken) being so crispy and saucy..it was almost the best item! The Lu Rou Fan was soft and aromatic,packed with delicate flavours! The エビチリ was unique as the sauce was similar to an Italian style tomato cream sauce,with a little chilli! It was a truly satisfying experience and very good value for money! Bring a friend and try a little bit of everything to share! Great modern/fusion take on Taiwanese and Chinese food. Ordered the yodaredori, lu rou fan, kurokoge char siu, ebi chili and black mapo tofu, with an otoshi of tempura whitefish with wasabi sauce. Everything was superb, but of particular not was the char siu, with a fig and shaoxingjiu reduction sauce that paired nicely with the medium rare pork. The mapo tofu was also great, with each piece of tofu starch fried, similar to agedashi, allowing each piece to hold together better and giving a lovely chewy texture.

The food here is delicious! There is no English menu, and it is difficult to translate. But the pork over rice dish is a crowd pleaser!
