Absolutely fantastic "western" restaurant. You'll most likely have to wait a bit, they have a waiting area on the third floor where they will take your order in advance for max efficiency. The hashed beef rice came with an extremely tender pieces of meat and super rich sauce that was simply amazing! I hated myself for going with the small size, but praised myself for adding the pork cutlet, which was the perfect combination of crunchiness and juiciness! I will definitely come back as soon as I have another opportunity to try the other dishes!

Crowd Size: Very High (15min wait) Payment...

The thick beef Katsu was well seasoned and well cooked. There was a small wait (15 minutes at 5pm for weekend dinner) and the store had a sign that it was understaffed but I thought it was a reasonable wait for dinner. They took our order before seating so we only waited about 5 minutes for our food after getting seated. The beef Katsu is medium rare and very tender. They also have Mt Rokko beer, which goes very well with the meal and is a world beer...

I don't see the hype behind this place. I went 15 minutes before opening and was able to get in without queue. But the beef katsu was subpar, especially for the price they are charging. The crust was great as usual due to the panko used in all japanese restaurants, but the beef was no where near tender.
