Restaurant may appeal to some who like bigger sushi, with more rice and bigger cut.

I tried the sashimi kaisen-don bowl which I thought was reasonable. Though not that special, it is a sushi and sashimi shop for a quick sashimi fix. I did feel that the fish and prawn could be a little fresher because I had tried better sashimi at Osaka, Tokyo and various parts of Japan, at similar prices. Wasabi was from paste, and ginger slices were not that great. Shiso leaf used was slightly dried. Rice quality was average and slightly hard.

Regardless, the staffs were hospitable and friendly, and they cater to foreigners well. This was a plus point.
