Was a convenient spot to try Kobe beef and given the high rating, I thought I would try it out.

The appatiser was dreadful, 3 unrelated foods crammed onto a single small plate. Then they brought me a tiny bowl of mediocre soup and one of the worst pieces of bread I've ever had.

The beef was good, but as it was a tenderloin it lacked the marbling kobe beef is famous for. The side dishes were dispointing and over salted.

Service was fine but the tablecloth was dirty and they weren't changed between customers. That's fine in a fast food restaurant but unacceptable in a place charging so much money.

Overall, it was a very disappointing dinner with a high-end price tag. It is better to spend a buy more for a high end experience or do something cheaper. Not...

Tastey food but that's it. We spent the extra $ for A5 Kobe since we were in Kobe and it was very good but not fast at all. Service was ok but disjointed. Had to ask for bread twice, then butter separate 3 times. Failures: They need to change the soiled paper tablecloths between customers. They can't be wiped in between and are actually gross. The worst part was when we went to pay, we were forced to use the last of our yen because their card machine wasn't working. They could no accept any other methods than cash. Close to $10,000 yen. Should have put a sign up outside warning customers. Would be a 1 star but good itself was very...

If you’re planning to visit Kobe, then you have to try out this place for damn delicious Kobe steak! 🥩

💴 PRICE: really reasonable and not through the roof which I really appreciate - 3300¥ (grape juice included)

🍷 DRINKS: juices, beer, etc.

INSIDE: spacious - a lot of tables, look through to watch the cooks do their work

STAFF: SO SO kind ✨

TASTE: absolutely delicious and if I’m some day in Kobe again, I would go to this place and enjoy the food a second time!

元町商店街に美味しいステーキ屋があると聞き伺いました。 今回はお昼に来店したので 名物ビフカツランチ(エビフライ、カニクリームコロッケ、唐揚げトッピング)を注文しました。 料理品目全て大満足いく内容となっており、 特にメインのビフカツはボリューム、火の入り加減も最高でソースともベストマッチです。 このクオリティで値段もかなりお得なのでびっくりです。 また店内は落ち着いた雰囲気で接客も丁寧でとても過ごしやすく楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。 ランチだけではなくディナー営業もあるので そちらもまた是非伺わせていただきたいですね。 ご馳走様でした。

Had the 150g Kobe steak lunch special that came with bread and soup. The freshly baked bread was AMAZING, and something I’d come back for more. The Kobegyu itself, while good, was nothing to call home about. For the price, it’s a decent introduction to Kobegyu (Kobe beef), but you can find some decent A5 Waggyu lunch specials for a similar price in Umeda, Osaka. Must reserve well in advance or you won’t get a seat! When reserving, make sure to order what you want as that might be different from their in-house menus. Seems that other patrons preferred to order other dishes such as croquettes, so give them a try as well.

For the price, it’s a decent introduction to Kobegyu (Kobe beef), but you can find some decent A5 Waggyu lunch specials for a similar price in Umeda, Osaka. Must reserve well in advance or you won’t get a seat! When reserving, make sure to order what you want as that might be different from their in-house menus. Seems that other patrons preferred to order other dishes such as croquettes, so give them a try as well.
