I had the strangest customer service experience at Starship. I asked for a plain omelette but the lady who works there said, “You can make a plain omelette at home yourself. Look at all the other options we have, please pick another one,“ and just wouldn’t let me order the plain omelette. It was a strange and uncomfortable encounter. The food was very average. From the quality of the food and atmosphere, I would say this is a typical yoshoku restaurant in Japan but denying a customer’s order because “they can cook it at home” is definitely unheard of and rude.

Cozy quiet little place with simple menu of good food. Staff are kind and the atmosphere of the place is lovely. Food was tasty and filling and not too expensive. I’ve lived in Kobe for 18 years and this was my first visit here... better late than never!

Cozy quiet little place with simple menu of good food. Staff are kind and the atmosphere of the place is lovely. Food was tasty and filling and not too expensive. I’ve lived in Kobe for 18 years and this was my first visit here... better late than never!
