It was quite full when we arrived in the afternoon (around 3PM on Sunday). We have to wait a little bit (about 5~10 min) but it was worthy it. We ordered different kinds of coffee and they both tasted great.

The coffee shop seems stopped in Showa area and the old lady at the counter was very polite and sweet. I like the way the barista made coffee, too. It's very artful. Just watching how he made coffee was a treat already.

The only thing I'd complain was the fact that there's no designated non-smoking seats. We enjoyed the first 20 min, but then someone next table start smoking. I can't complain as it's not a non-smoking shop, so we have to leave soon after that. It's quite common in Japan though, I have to say, that the whole coffee shop or restaurant allows smoking. So, for me, as a foreigner, it's more like my issue rather than this...

You can immediately feel the warmth of this coffee house.

The gentleman barista is a man who takes the absolute pride in his work and is a man of culture.

He has a splendid collection of nice porcelain tableware. And as you can see in the picture that he chooses the cup that he thinks will suit you.

This form of dedication in this fast pace of life of modern times makes you appreciate the little things a little more and the time spent here was hospitable and kind. A nice stop before continuing the day.

I believe his daughters will continue his legacy and passion for the coffee craft. They were also attentive and provided great service to the various patrons present.

I wish uncle good health for many...

This is such a lovely cafe, nostalgia, quiet, and very welcoming. The coffee and cake I had are great and I enjoyed my time spent there. They serve pour over coffee and offer variety of blends. Coffee is served in a bone china cup and each customer has unique coffee cup. They also jazz as the background music.
