Nailey's Grill — Restaurant in Kobe

I walked into this place randomly, and thankfully, they accepted me despite being a bit underdressed from sightseeing. I ordered the Caesar salad and the Kobe pork chop. The salad had a classic taste but was slightly too acidic for my liking. The pork chop itself wasn’t particularly special, but the sauce was incredible—I wiped every last bit off my plate. The meat was cooked well but wasn’t super tender and had quite a bit of inedible fatty parts. I paid $40 USD for my meal, which felt like a fair price. However, I didn’t appreciate that the owner offered me bread without mentioning it would be an extra charge. Overall, the ambiance was nice, and I’d consider returning and maybe trying...

This was one of the first restaurants which I visited in 2008 when I first arrived in Kobe as it was located close to Crown Plaza Hotel.

The owner Hero San is still running this fine establishment and I was absolutely happy to see him after 7 years.

Nailey’s serve one of the best Chicken Caesar Salads and Hot Apple Pie (with vanilla ice cream) - which is my all time favorite and the taste has not changed for the past 15 years.

The menu also has an amazing selection of grilled dishes and a wide pasta selection.

This place is incredible and special.The food and service is always consistently excellent. The owner takes great pride in providing top notice food and service. I have been enjoying Nailey’s since 2008 and always, the food and service is excellent. In my opinion they have the best Cesar salad that Inhave ever come across and their pizza’s are exceptional.
