We stayed at the Peanuts Hotel for 3 nights in October 2019.||As we could only book 2 nights at a time, we stayed in Room 61 for the first night at then Room 55 for the next two nights.||Room 61 was amazing!!! Plenty of space, a beautiful secluded balcony that is wonderfully decorated. A beautiful bathroom with a bath and a shower in it. Loads of Snoopy memorbillia in the room itself.||Room 55 was not as good. It was much smaller, no bath, just a shower. Just a few Snoopy pictures on the wall. I didn't mind this so much but what I did mind was that the room faced out onto a very noisey street. There is no double glazing here so all night we could hear the traffic below and the BEEP BEEP BEEP of the pedestrian crossing every 2 minutes!!||||The hotel itself is wonderfully decorared, even the elevator is shaped like Snoopy's doghouse! In the diner there is a Kite Eating Tree! It is a Snoopy lovers dream!! And this was the main reason we were staying here - because I love Snoopy! ||||However unfortunately as a hotel it let me down in a few ways:||1. The breakfast here is really disappointing. There is no choice whatsoever. There is a tiny buffet with tea, coffee, juice and one type of cereal. Then you are served a plate of "breakfast sliders". I think the idea here is that it should be American Style but I didn't like it at all. There are 4 sliders, one has tuna, one is like pepperoni or something, and then there is a random sweet one with some sort of mango cream.||Also on the platter is a salad, a cup of soup, a jar of granola and yogurt and then a jar of peanut butter!!! Peanut butter on it's own! That's it! ||This breakfast left me hungry and disappointed, especially when we had paid so much to stay here. Giving people a choice for breakfast would be much better - even if it was as much as having 2 extra cereals at the buffet counter.||||The other thing I was really disappointed with here were the towels. Because the hotel allows you to take home all the Snoopy-themed amenities, this means that all the towels in the hotel are brand new all the time. Which means that they are not very absorbant and leave loads of fluff all over you. Which isn't very nice when you are trying to apply moisturiser or sunscreen after your shower and loads of fluff is just balling up on your skin!||||In conclusion, if you are a huge Snoopy fan, this hotel is worth staying in. Just maybe go out for breakfast and bring your...

Read moreThe room design at Peanuts Hotel Kobe is undeniably charming—playful, aesthetic, and thoughtfully themed for fans of Snoopy and the Peanuts gang. We stayed Room 61 which came with a beautiful terrace balcony. The visual experience was a delight, and the complimentary Peanuts-themed gifts that came with the package added a nice touch.
However, the stay left much to be desired in terms of comfort and service. The bed was surprisingly uncomfortable, and the room amenities were minimal—certainly not reflective of the price point.
Service was disappointingly un-Japanese. We arrived at 1 PM and saw our room was ready, but staff refused to check us in before the strict 3 PM policy. Even something as simple as a request for water was declined. At check-out, they insisted my friend return to the room just to retrieve a paper key with a QR code, despite being able to verify our booking easily.
Overall, while the hotel offers visual appeal and a unique concept, the poor service and lack of hospitality made the experience fall flat. It’s a nice place for photos, but not for comfort or care. Disappointed by the...
