Beautiful Ceremony Palace - Ki Ten Kan - 徽典館

It lives up to its namesake.

That’s what you get here, beautiful ceremony, which is amazing! But be forewarned that the owner is old and follows a method of his own. Which means - don’t expect to get a quick coffee or food as you’ll be waiting for a good while even if there are little to no customers.

This is not a complaint but admiration! I love the process of making anything well and following a process and that is exactly what I expected and got!

みなさんご機嫌よう、時間を潰すためぶらついていると、入り口横のブルーマウンテンのポスターに惹かれて立ち寄りました。

店内は奥に向かって細長く続いており、カウンター席と向かい合わせの席が数席、天井も低く常連客もちらほら現れる渋いお店。

店主さんもなかなか貫禄のあるお方。

コーヒー、紅茶、フロートやジュースなどの昔ながらのメニューからキリマンジャロを頼む

いただきます。

単にタンザニア好きなだけなんだが、キリマンジャロは酸味があって美味い

常連さんたちの話に耳を澄ませながら書き物をする。

店主もただただ耳を傾けて空かない言葉で返す、とても静かな空間で今度は読書

入り口から傾き始めた西日が眩しく差し込み、少し薄暗い店内を明るくする

店内にはクラシック音楽が流れ続け、空間は今の甲府からは違う時空感を感じる

1時間ほど珈琲一杯で過ごすのにとてもいい喫茶店であった

Say Hello to everyone. I was trying to killing my time and I was attracted by a Blue Mountain poster then stopped there.

The cafe was narrow and deep inside even ceiling was low that made vibes deeper in a good way.

There ware some counter seats and tables.

Sounds like local regular customers come around to talk about news and stuffs and I was listening it while writing.

I chose a Kilimanjaro from retro cafe menu just because I like Tanzania

I even read a book, sun is laying and light up little dark inside

The master who is dandy and has a dignity was knotting his customers’ talk and sometime responses by little words.

Classic music played but feel silent like the time is stopping only this space in Kofu town

I spend a hour nicely. My voice was right, if you like such authentic cafe you should stop...
