PIZZERIA BAR NAPOLI 甲府中央 — Restaurant in Kofu

Very excellent quality, handmade Italian food and drinks with a nice, relaxed atmosphere:

They have a VERY small kitchen, which is why they can only cook so much at a time and some orders don't come together (for example, they can only make one pizza at a time). This is why the other guy, Alex, had an issue with his orders coming at different times. And this is also why all dishes are served with small plates and bowls so you share with the table as each dish comes; and also why there is an enormous selection of tapas, starters, salads, etc.

Also seems that reviewer speaks English, but this is a restaurant with Japanese staff... so unless he speaks Japanese, again, I can see why there is an issue.

All that said, they did mess up our desert order, but I don't really care too much about it. Especially since they fixed it no problem.

If you are here for a relaxed time with good food, then this is the right place for you. All handmade pasta and pizza crust and...

STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT. It is run by incompetent fools.

1. Our pizza orders were not placed correctly.
2. I ordered a 1/2-carafe of wine, but the waiter only brought out one glass. When I informed him of the error, he claimed that, because the order for 1 glass had been placed in the restaurant's system, it could not be changed. (I.e., he did not know how to change the order.)
3. Our meals were brought to the table 15 minutes apart from each other.
4. At the register, the server did not know how to operate the credit card machine.

There are many other, better options for pizza and pasta in downtown Kofu. Don't...

This restaurant is the “safest bet” option in Kofu. Great vibe and has something for everyone. Also one of the few restaurants in town that actually stays open after 14:00! If you hang around at 15:00 it is happy hour with 300￥ drinks!

Napoli has both pasta, pizza, gnocchi and also a Korean inspired menu with a lot of fried chicken. I am absolutely obsessed with the honey mustard Korean chicken sold here. I also recommend the sangrias!
