Fantastic Kumamoto local delicacies (vegetables, pickles, marinated dishes etc) and of course their famous babashi, or horse sashimi. We came for dinner and love the fact we can choose different cuts of horse and how many pieces. We got the skirt steak and loved the leanness and favours. Also would recommend their hamburger steak which is a great value. I love all the Kumamoto veggies they feature. Special shout out to the ground horse meat with raw egg on rice. The hostess was super friendly despite us having zero to no Japanese. Highly recommend.
