Cono Foresta — Restaurant in Kurashiki

Generally nice restaurant that had a couple things preventing it from being a great experience. First, the staff seemed very annoyed when taking our order and giving us our food. I understand if things are busy it can be stressful, but besides one other table we were the only two people in the restaurant. There was really no excuse for poor service. Second, even though the pizza is cooked in a real stone oven, it got cold very quickly after arriving at our table. I really don’t know what the excuse for that is since the restaurant was pretty much empty and we were the only people that ordered pizza. Lastly, I felt that although the food was good overall, the price was a bit too expensive. We had an appetizer, two drinks, and two pizzas for ¥5,400. The drinks and appetizers specifically were overpriced, while the pizza was somewhat reasonable. All in all despite the food being decent and the atmosphere being nice, I don’t see myself...

Lucky enough to have this as a local, so eat here relatively often. Recently we’ve had pizza, sandwiches and desserts, and all have been excellent. The pizza base itself is always perfectly cooked, and the flavour options are great.
