The services was really really slow, 3 people in the whole restaurant. I understand finding staff is difficult so they should take less reservations which they handle and good give services too.
It’s very disheartening when you have to pay for drinking water. Either you give option to guest- mineral water or restaurant water. Instead of saying we don’t have provide restaurant water.
Out of the whole menu Zangi chicken was the food. In terms of food it was good.

Start with the good. The staff are definitely friendly n welcoming and it has a very local homely bar feeling. Now with the bad. I was served with an appetizer which I didnt ask for and I had to pay 500 yen for it. Maybe they should have asked if I want it before just serving right to me. Ordered fried chicken and it came with a strand of hair and so the chef apologised and recooked another one, ok appreciate that. This is a "locals" spot. Smoking is allowed...ya this isn't Vancouver or Sydney or LA. Don't go here if that is what you want. Food is traditional Japanese..Izakaya, fried chicken (kutchan chicken) is great, ramen salad...etc. Go in with an open mind and be patient. Small but friendly staff and it can get busy.
