Very good soup curry. English menu available. Limited menu options available but it's easier to order. You can customize the spicy level as well as the size of rice. We had the meatball soup curry. I got #3 spicy, and thought it was pretty spicy. You can choose all the way to #10 for very very spicy 🥵 (anything over #5 cost extra ¥). An onion salad was also served to begin. Meatball was delicious - moist and flavorful, especially when it mixed with the curry soup. Definitely needed the rice as the soup curry was a bit salty on it's own. Also comes with many vegetables. Can see this being great during the winter. Even in the spring, it was tasty!

First time trying Soup Curry, a local specialty of Sapporo and Hokkaido. Unlike regular Japanese curry, rice is served separately and you scoop it with the spoon and dip it in the soup. The chicken soup curry is the main attraction here. The soup is a beautiful dark brown, flavors so savory and richly spiceful, and the chicken meat falls off the bone. The only thing is the line is quite brutal. As it is one of the few places around the Niseko area that has actual good food, all the skiers flock to this place in search of a warm soothing dinner. Be prepared to wait outside in the cold for up to an hour or more.

Traditional Hokkaido style soup curry. Very tasty and generous portions wise. Expect a long wait given how well prices they are and they close early (8:30pm). For a more traditional experience, get the curry soup without coconut. The nigiri is huge and so delicious. The sashimi is very fresh - the 3 kinds has a nicely torched scallop which was super tasty. You get to choose the spice level of the curry. Levels 1-5 are free, 6 or above there’s an extra charge. You can also choose how much rice you want on the side of the curry. If you opt for no rice, it’s 100yen off as well.

A very cosy soup curry restaurant in Niseko. Extremely crowded during the height of the snow sport season, suggest to make a reservation or to come 15 minutes before opening (~5.45pm for dinner) if you don’t want to wait in the cold. Tried the Tsumire and chicken soup curry which was tasty but thin compared to the Sapporo outlets which were richer in flavour. Pork intestine spicy hot pot was a surprise find, boasting a sweet, smoky soup that we drank every last drop. However the innards meat was tougher than what we expected which made the dish fall short of perfect.

Not the worlds best, but for “ski resort food” it was pretty great. Liked the vegetarian coconut curry soup - I did level 8 spice and it was delicious. We waited over an hour to get seated because we got there right at 6, so make sure to get there at least 15 mins before they open to write your name down on their list. Or you can make a reservation! I wouldn’t wait in line again for this meal, but I did enjoy it once we were inside. Service was a bit slow so I can see why there’s always a wait lol.
