Kozue — Local services in Kutchan

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kozue, a charming place nestled in the heart of the mountains. From the moment I arrived, the staff, particularly , went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience.

The accommodations were cozy, with well-appointed rooms that offered a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. The on-site amenities, including a crackling fireplace in the common area and a outdoor heated jaccuzi , added to the overall appeal.

What truly set this ski accommodation apart was the exceptional service provided by Regan, Louie, Fletcher, Zak One, Dylan, Amber & Luke. They were not only attentive and courteous but also knowledgeable about the best slopes, local attractions, and dining options. Their personal touch made me feel welcome and added a warmth to the stay.

I highly recommend staying at Kozue. I could not fault the apartment, service or location, it was perfect. The apartments are very spacious, very comfortable, and well equipped- far exceeding our expectations. The views are just wonderful. We stayed in the one bed apartment with pull down Murphy bed, the bedroom is huge and the Murphy bed is large and super comfy and does not crowd the room all. There is heaps is storage and a great kitchen with everything you need. The heated ski/boot room is fabulous! The location is perfect- in the middle of everything. The absolute highlight is the service. The Kozue team are exceptional, going above and beyond, friendly and always helpful and knowledgeable, even with complex issues such as trains, buses and lifts. The lifts to the slopes were the best. A shout out to the whole team but special mention to Ariana who was wonderful, also Lydia, Mo, Torsten, Ryan and Rhiannon. These people made our stay feel very special. We will be back again and won’t stay anywhere other than Kozue. A huge thanks from us for making our holiday...

This is a fantastic place for a ski trip to Niseko. The staff is amazing and the driver service is really what truly makes the difference, transforming the hassle of carrying skis to a bus stop into a comfortable ride with nice conversation! There is also a place to store your skis (which warms up your boots!). The rooms are nice and quite practical for a longer trip (kitchen, washer/dyer, etc). My only comment for improvement would be PLEASE PUT ON PROPER WINDOW SHADES. The room is really bright from early morning and anyone visiting in summer needs to bring an eye mask It would have been perfect if that had been fixed or if at least an eye mask was offered (there were also no pajamas, which I wouldn’t complain about anywhere out of Japan, but here some might expect it and forget to bring their own.
