Rikka Spa 六花スパ — Local services in Kutchan

I made a same-day 90min reservation through their website and recommend reading the descriptions for each service before booking since there are none when making the selection in the reservation flow (the description copy is not easy to compare). A credit card is required to leave a 10% deposit in order to make a reservation. Immediately after you book, you instantly get a confirmation over email.

The spa is located upstairs of the Setsu Niseko hotel, it was clean, modern and felt luxurious. I was presented with 5 massage oil blends named after nature elements and I could select 1 for my massage.

My wellness therapist, Miki was outstanding. Her Japanese seitai massage style and firm pressure hit all the tight areas around my upper and lower back from carrying my toddler. The rainforest soundtrack and singing mediation bowl before and after my massage added to the memorable and rejuvenating experience...

I visited the Rikka spa once during the Christmas week and I had the 90 minute Healing Therapy that involves a massage with oils and Karelian hot stones, and a foot ritual, where your feet were soaked in warm water and different elements such as dried orange, salt and lavender. The whole experience was really nice and since checking in at their reception, it all felt very professional yet warm and welcoming. My massage therapist was Risa, and honestly I would totally choose her again. If not the best, it was at least one of the best massages I have had, and she was very friendly and accommodating. The space is also very well decorated, clean and pleasant. Where do I start!

As somebody who worked here for 4 months during the 2023/24 Winter Ski Season, I can only speak of good things about the whole team at Rikka Spa. The therapists are as professional as they come and are genuinely passionate about their job and providing an excellent service to every customer.

As the Spa Receptionist, I saw 90% of the customers throughout the season and I can honestly say that I have never heard so many people say that the service they received was the best they have ever head, across any industry I have worked in. I would have to agree with these customers too receiving a massage treatment myself, it was brilliant.

Do make the time to go to Rikka Spa during your visit to Niseko, it will definitely end up being a highlight...
