Eggs 'n Things — Restaurant in Kuwana

I have never tried this chain before, but I have heard it’s very popular. I was severely disappointed. We ordered the poke, a surf/turf and special omelette. The poke was actually pretty ok, it is marinated well even tho there is less fish than there looks. However, everything is doused in butter and it’s not the nice kind. The special crab omelette barely has any crab in it, and the eggs are quite flat. The shrimp in the surf and turf was good, but the steak was overcooked and tasted really off putting like it was marinated in butter, and the mash was also inedible. I don’t like the heavy dairy smell on everything, it made me feel a bit nauseous. Also there were empty tables but the staff still made us wait outside. One of the staff members seemed impatient and very rude, but the others were very nice. The decor of the shop is nice at least. I’ve never had such an off putting meal that was so expensive, but overall the experience was quite negative. A lot of customers waited outside the resto for like thirty minutes. I was wondering why they wouldnt let eveybody in when in fact there were almost 4-7 tables available.

When the pancake was served, it looked great (as usual), however when i tasted the pancake, i knew that it wasnt newly cooked because it was already dry. I didnt like it at all. The whipped cream was fresh though.

The pancakes in other branches definitely tasted diffently from the Nagashima branch. I hope they hold up to...

Exceptional disappointment - waitress displayed rudeness and it took so long just to take a simple order. No one can speak english at this resu, unlike others within the outlet.
