太秦天神川駅すぐにあります。 この辺りは太秦映画村の帰りに通る方が多いですが、飲食店は少ないというのが印象です。 中でも店内は広々、ソファー席もあってゆっくりできます。 カレーが一押しのようで、いろんな種類があります。今回は名前のインパクト！オムレツカレー！ 期待が膨らみます。5分前後で到着！ カレーの上に大きなオムレツが乗っています。 味はと言うと、カレーはスパイスが効いて意外に辛い！味は旨味を薄くしたココイチという印象。オムレツは味がしませんね。。。 マヨネーズをかけたい。そんな気持ちにさせます。 Right next to Uzumasa Tenjingawa Station. Highly Underrated cafe. We chanced upon this place as we stayed close by and came back twice. The best Omu Curry Rice (plus cheese) that we had in Kyoto and they have a yummy selection of desserts too! Helps that they have an English menu! I would definitely come back here if...

「カフェ・喫茶」と銘打っていますが、こちらは京都随一のカレーライスのお店です。また京都では近年あまり辛くないカレーが流行っていますがこちらは昔ながらのしっかり辛い欧風カレーのお店です。ただし、激辛カレーではありませんので、辛いのが苦手の方でも大丈夫です。１番人気はカツカレーです。しかも、こちらのカレールゥには何も浮かんでいません。肉も野菜も完全に溶け込んでいて、1970年代の百貨店のレストランで良く出されていたちょっと上等なカレーライスと同じ味がします。ただ自分の大好物は、シーフードカレーです。カツカレーよりさらに辛いルゥですが、(つまりカレーライスの品目ごとに、別の鍋で違う製法でルゥが作られています)イカを初めとする煮込んだシーフードの甘味がバランスを良くしています。またこちらは喫茶店ですから、コーヒーやスイーツも充実しています。チーズケーキは専門店のものよりもさらにマスカルポーネチーズの風味が効いていて、甘酸っぱいですね。チーズケーキは味が濃いので、紅茶では負けてしまいます。ガツンと強い...
