I haven’t even finished my food here, but I needed to stop and make a review for the fried chicken. It is the best fried chicken I’ve ever had in my entire life and I need other people to try it too. Maybe the other things we order will also be great, as I expect they will be, but I cannot speak to those as I am reviewing This establishment in the middle of my meal. This is a bar that serves mainly kushiage (food skewers) dishes alongside a variety of Japanese sakes. The food and drinks are great, and the bar gives out a cozy vibe that makes you feel at home.

We had our last dinner in Kyoto here and it was really perfect. Small standing room izakaya with big flavors and great customer service. Between our very minimal Japanese / google translate and the chef's English we were able to come up with an absolutely delicious meal.
