Ramen Daidanokamisama — Restaurant in Kyoto

The Ramen here is really amazing! I've had my fair share of ramen in Japan and this has been my favoirite place in Kyoto. Every component is flavourful on its own and comes together really well. It also tastes very clean and is not heavy at all, unlike other ToriPaitan restaurant's. Owner is very friendly and welcoming. Love the anime that gets played in the restaurant.

A bowl is only 930 yen, which is super affordable. Not a student myself, but I believe there's a discount available (I respect that).

I am a very introverted individual and appreciated the service I received; the owner was very friendly. An English menu was also much appreciated.

The food was very good and the prices were as well, so much so that I ended up ordering more food. I ended up eating an entire ramen dish, two different servings of rice, and 6 pieces of chicken. I got lost on my way home and decided to look up a place for dinner. It took me behind residential streets but it was easy to follow thru maps.

There’s an English menu and the owner was super helper and could speak enough English to assist with ordering! The whole vibe and atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I cannot wait to share this place with others who visit.
