Wow! Who would have known that I would find the best clam pasta in Kyoto on the way to visit the golden Kinkaku-Ji temple… This was totally not planned. We were just hungry. I’m so so happy to stumble into this Italian restaurant. We liked it so much that when we finished our plate, we ordered two more! We’ve been to Italy and I had this dish at multiple restaurants and this restaurant tops every restaurant I’ve been to in Italy. The pasta is perfectly cooked and that sauce is to die for. Too bad that we leave tomorrow morning. I would love to try the bolognese and the carbonara.

Pasta was cooked al dente and taste was just right to our liking. We even happen to meet a group of Italians who came to visit the place as well. Great experience and ambience. Staff was also very kind and helpful. Highly recommend to come before/after your visit to Kinkakuji.

金閣寺すぐそばにあるパスタと洋食のお店です。 京都 喜 shin のセカンドラインの古民家レストラン。 中に入ると、先にタッチパネルで注文と支払いを済ませて入店するシステム。 あらかじめ何にするか決めてから入らないと、混雑時には後ろの方を待たせるので焦りそうです。 一階と二階に客席があります。 一階は大人数向けの大テーブル、2階は2〜4名席のテーブル席となっていて、襖の絵柄や内装はインバウンドを意識した作り。 表の黒板に書いてあったメニューを注文。 ・春キャベツとフレッシュトマトのアーモンドクリームパスタ 初めてのアーモンドクリームに惹かれて注文。 アーモンドってパスタに合う！ クリームソースだけど、キャベツとトマトがさっぱりとしているから くどくない。 めちゃくちゃ美味しくて私好みでした。 あと、パスタって油断してましたが かなりボリュームありましたよ^_^ そしてお店の看板になっているのが オーダーメイドパスタのシステム。 パスタの種類 ソースの種類 好きな具材3種 全て自分の好みで選んで調理してもらえます。 セットには本日のスープとパン2種とドリンク付き。 今回はオニオングラタン風スープ レベル高過ぎスープです。 パスタと洋食だから、お値段もお手頃👍 京都 喜shinの予約取れなかったので お迎えに位置する こちらにしたけど全然アリでした。 古民家レストラン好きな方は 是非食べに行ってみてください。
