I have a life threatening seafood allergy (fish, crustaceans & molluscs) and when I told the staff about my allergy and showed them the allergy sheet I had prepared, they informed the chef who made sure that all of their ingredients were free of any seafood for both broths that the ramen came with. Read moreGreat location for a hearty bowl of ramen after walking the Kinkuji Temple gardens. Ramen is tasty and filling. We tried both shoyu and salt in medium size with toppings of grilled pork slices and chicken and quail eggs. Any of the 2 broth options will be great. The noodles used were thicker than what other ramen places use. While some of us were ok with it some in our group said thinner noodles would have been better- i think it’s a preference thing. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. He was a good host and made sure guests feel welcome and asked for feedback. Thank you Utopia Ramen for making our Kyoto visit...
