We stopped off here after a walk up the shrine. It was quite a hike so this was a welcome little pit stop, especially given the cold weather. The building itself is really beautiful, and amazingly warm for the high ceilings. We didn't have too much time so just stopped in for the sake sampler but wish we could have stayed longer.

The sake was delicious with excellent tasting notes to give us sake novices an idea of what we were drinking. It was a very relaxing space and great for people-watching as tourists trooped past outside on the their way to and from the shrine.

This place is lovely, a real peaceful stop in a busy tourist route. It's a standing bar only, so if that's not your thing, jog on and don't leave them a bad review, thankyou 😉. I had a really nice time here, as I said it's peaceful and intimate and encourages you to chat to fellow patrons.
