We came here a few days ago, on May 10th after a long morning of walking all over the east side of Kyoto. My wife really wanted to try some ramen in Japan, and we were lucky to spot this place near a popular shopping street. A nice staff member was waiting for us at the top of the steps asking us if we want to come in, and seeing that there was a non pork option, we were pretty interested.

The food was amazing! The broth tasted very good, and they even gave us little miso bottles that we can mix into spoonfuls of the broth that would each provide a very interesting flavor. My favorite was definitely eating the eggs with the broth, it's a crazy good flavor. I really recommend this place if you want some amazing...

We were femished from the walk, and just happened to fancy some Ramen, and saw the sign outside. It looked very unassuming from the narrow steps outside leading onto the 1st floor Restaurant, and after we bought our meal tickets from the automated machine next to the entrance, we were greeted and brought to our table. The Ramens came quickly and we were impressed by the depth of flavours, the deep Umami the chicken broth had. The noodles themselves had just the right texture and bouciness, all together makes it one of the best Ramen meal we have ever enjoyed in Japan, or anywhere else. Highly reccomended, you...

The set menu is very good. I couldn't eat all of it so I shared it with my wife. The ramen itself was one of the best I had during my stay in Japan. The broth is very flavorful and the chashu rice was super good as well. Try all the miso as well! The service was awesome as well. The employee was really thoughtful and got us an extra bowl for sharing even though we didn't ask for it. Overall, the price wasn't too bad either, so if you're in the mood for ramen around here, I highly suggest it! It's on the second floor and a little hard to find, but it's worth it. You have to order on the machine before...

Randomly picked a ramen place and luckily it exceeded our expectations. Yes it’s a bit more expensive for ramen but the location is in the heart of preservation area so a little premium is expected. The portion is huge so don’t tackle the rice set unless you’re a hungry boy. The rice bowl had a bit of mayo in it and have a few different cuts of pork. Get a spoonful of rice then eat it with a bit of ramen broth is heavenly! The ramen noodle is super Q. Not chewy, but Q. Quite different than the normal texture. Pairs well with the three misos (white, sesame, and daikon).
