Amazing food, had one of the best beef steaks of my life here. The desserts are also delicious, a bit on the smaller side compared to European sizes, we had 4 for 2 people. We were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. We came by taxi from Hotel Granvia . We get there and are told the Wagyu beef is no longer halaal ! SURELY the restaurant should have posted this on their website . Great food, very reasonably priced, with a great selection of Wagyu. They have a separate Halal menu too which is a rare find in Kyoto.

Impeccable service throughout and very attentive. Two employees even stood outside in the rain for a long a time after our meal to hail a taxi for us!
