Nigiri Chojiro Takaragaike — Restaurant in Kyoto

Went by chance when looking for something close to the metro station and struck gold. Beware, there is likely to be a queue since it's a popular spot. I was lucky and the staff helped me in English and added my name to the waiting list and after 30 min in a nice waiting room (with seats) i was ordering. You can pick up items from the conveyor belt if you sit next to it or order from a tablet. Overall the experience and the taste were great, wanted to pick some items from the belt, but on the tablet there were several seasonal items so mostly ended up getting those (seared Maitake mushroom is recommended if you see it when you go). Only small inconvenience is that, since it gets so busy, some dishes can take a bit longer, but it's well...

One of my favorite types of japanese cuisine is sushi. This restaurant's food quality depends on your favorite type of sushi. Although there are many different types and style of sushi at this restaurant.

This restaurant is not like any other sushi place in the United States or other countries. This is REAL sushi. If you are sitting by the conveyor-belt counter, you can watch the chefs make your meal! If you aren't fond of seaweed, they also have a vaierty of "non-seaweed" sushi.

I recommend this restaurant to all ages....

Awesome Sushi restaurant. They have a huge variety of different Maki and Sashimi on the conveyor belt as well as delicious deserts. If you order a table in advance you will get seated in a separate room from where you order by an app running on a tablet mounted to the side of it. The prices range from very affordable to a little pricy but the food is worth every Yen. I have been in this restaurant twice...
