Overhyped. Foreigners, avoid to seat in the table seats.
They use top ingredients, truffles, caviar... to go with top quality Kobe beef. But, just not really goes well together. You don't really need top ingredients to be delicious; the Kobe sirloin do melt in your mouth though.
The food itself maybe worth 3.5~4 stars but, the service is not good at all. 3 or 4 staffs working very hard but just lack of proper training to show the Japanese hospitality. The worth thing is the chef slow down our dishes to accommodate the other local? customers who are late; so, we have to wait for the dishes to come with empty table. Apparently, we and another group of English speaking customers who had been "set aside" from counter, which full with local customers, has been ignored.
Overall disappointed. Especially if the chef don't respect the customer who is on time, and, delay the dining process for easier operation with other customer who is later, is simply not acceptable. We...
Read moreWe really enjoyed our experience here! The meat was top quality and the cookery was top notch. The steak was definitely some the best I have ever had (beating out all the steaks I've had from 3-Michelin-starred places in the US and Europe). The portion size was by no means small. Towards the end I was so full and had to force myself a bit to finish all the food just coz I couldn't stand to see it to go to waste. The service was on par to what you'd expect from a high-end Japanese place. Would recommend to people who are willing to pay...

1.the chef was really rude with a poker face all night since we entered. I really don't know why maybe because all the customers don't speak Japanese. 2.I found other two people were sharing one set courses, it was so rediculous. There was only one set of 65000 when I made the booking. 3.the sauce of beef shabushabu was too sour. 4.A friend of mine went to the restroom during the middle, it took about 10 minutes and the chef went mad and told us he will cancel one course of my friends’ because she was going to restroom?!?! 5.Every course was so mini, after this we went to ramen.
Never gonna come again. The chef was...
