We found ourselves in the area, so we decided to pop in and grab some dinner. It was a great meal with great service. The staff took us to a private dining room for the two of us. There were hangers and a bench to place our jackets and bags before we sat down. The meal itself was very nice. We opted to do a seasonal kaiseki, which was a multi-course meal that featured various seafood, tofu, vegetables, soup, and even dessert. Read moreWe enjoyed the Yuba and Tofu course so much! Some of the Yuba (tofu skin) dish melts in your mouth and some are made differently and have a bit more texture- love both styles. The course was very filling and, to me, worth every yen.
(Note: some of the reviews mentioned the tofu having no taste/being bland… i guess you can say that BUT not over-seasoning it also allows you to taste the aroma and feel of good quality tofu. Plus they also have sauces to accompany dishes like ponzu, etc)
