Omi beef livestock Asahi Sennaka store — Restaurant in Kyoto

This is a Yakiniku place, and before I start giving a review on this place. I would like to start by saying I'm American and I live near this restaurant. The person who gave a bad review saying they don't serve foreigners is false. The most likely scenario is that they couldn't serve you because they were full or booths were reserved for customers who applied for it online. So be sure to reserve a table at a specified time so you're not waiting outside for a spot.

If you're a foreigner who don't speak much Japanese. Don't worry the menu system is done on a QR code. The link on the QR code took me to the LINE app. High usage app here in Japan for messaging or calling people. The menu will be localized to your native language. Be that English or Chinese but orders are taken on there and served to you at your table.

The food was amazing. Aged Harumi, Omi beef and cow tongue were delicious. expect the portions on those orders to be small side. It's enough to feel satisfied. As for the cost it's not going to be on the cheap side. That said I hope to come...

As a couple of kiwis who really had no idea what we were doing, the previous reviews brought us through the door. We were greeted by very friendly staff who used their limited English to tell us everything we needed to know. I went out of my comfort zone and tried a couple of dishes that I had never had anything like before and it was all absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend to any foreigner staying in the area. Great price, service and most importantly, food!. 5 stars all...

京都でコスパ良く楽しめる焼肉屋があると知って向かいます！ 着いてビックリ‼️ 「創業明治元年継承」と看板にあります。 ザ•大衆な外観に、店内の壁にはアメリカのウォールペイントのような楽しい大きな絵柄。 表のメニューに 「めっちゃ美人の好物だいたい焼肉」 って書いてあって、ほなわざわざここまで来た私は美人確定かな⁉️🤣 とほくそ笑みます😆
