An extremely lucky find, family-run restaurant established since the Meiji Era. Super friendly owner and absolutely delicious Japanese comfort food for very reasonable prices. Every single dish we ordered was sumptuous whether from their regular menu or seasonal menu. We also ordered hot sake to go along with our meals. A great indication that it was a yummy spot was there were no tourists, except us. Everyone else looked like locals. The presentation was nice, but the tempura batter was too thick and the taste was bland. What's more there were no vegetables apart from a small piece of aubergine. The katsudon was average.
