Do not be fooled by the fake high rating. This is an overpriced and over-rated restaurant. They sell lunch-bento quality food at 5-10x price. And they state bento food as “kaiseki”, which is totally misleading. The “hot” dish tastes worse than supermarket cooked dish, and much smaller portion. It was just microwaved before serving. One hygiene issue here, the chef coughs a lot in front of you and your dishes.

Just not worth it. This is the lowest value-for$ Japanese meal in my 17 days trip in Japan, and my other Japanese meals...
Read moreThe best restaurant we have tried since we came to Japan. After going to Osaka and Kyoto, I can assure this is the best food and service we have received. An excellent tempura, but I would like to make an special mention to the Somen menú, which was...

Maybe it is expensive because of all the design, because they gave us 4 small side dishes and, admittedly, some good-looking cups and bowls. But the quality of food is really normal. I can have much better food for that money, even have a steak in Tokyo. The (maybe) only pros of this restaurant is they have a quite big eating room, with comfortable area to...
