Stumbled upon this co-working space walking down a side street lined with chōchin.
I urgentlyneeded to email a bunch of client reports and the cute and friendly chalkboard sign caught my eye. The next thing I heard was boisterous and infectious laughter and I was sold.
I walked in and Rena (owner of said laughter) greeted me warmly in Japanese and English. I asked for some co-working time and she ran through the options and I was directed upstairs (sans shoes) where I could partake of the facilities.

Read moreWe stumbled upon Sights Kyoto by accident, but it turned out to be one of the best surprises of our trip. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff—especially the owner, Tetsuo—were incredibly warm and genuine. It’s always so heartwarming to meet people like them, and we had some really great conversations. The Japanese sake was fantastic, and it’s the perfect spot to relax, whether you’re with friends or on your own. We loved the vibe and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto. It also has a lovely co-working space for those looking for a cool spot to work. If we’re lucky enough to return to Kyoto, we’ll...
