Mealstop — Restaurant in Matsumoto

I've been wanting to visit this restaurant since I saw it on Instagram, and I finally got the chance! This is a restaurant opened by the owner of the popular 'Chishita Shokudo' in Yoyogi-Uehara, Tokyo, who moved to Matsumoto. The owner runs the place single-handedly, and I was charmed by the home-made, heartwarming food and the cozy atmosphere. There are two types of set meals: the daily special (1400 yen) and keema curry. The main of today's daily special was shumai. It came with four other side dishes, all of which were delicious and of high quality. The interior of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere with a wood-based design, and there are counter seats and table seats. It's easy to enter even alone, and you can enjoy your meal at a leisurely pace. The only downside was that the radio was playing quietly as background music, although it wasn't particularly noisy. Personally, I don't like the radio, so I deducted a star. I'm sorry.
