It’s been about three weeks since we visited this restaurant, but wow, the impression has not left us. I’ve never written a Google review before, but I felt absolutely compelled to after this experience because of the sheer kindness and passion of the owners.
This is, without exaggeration, the BEST Indian food I have ever had. My brother and I were traveling through Japan on a birthday trip, and after a long day of hiking this meal completely hit the spot. My brother loved it so much that he immediately ordered a second serve! The chicken curry set I had - recommended by the owner - was so tender it melted in my mouth. Every bite felt like it had been cooked with true love and dedication.
What made this more than just a meal was the owner himself. He wasn’t just serving food, he was sharing his story, his heritage, and even guiding us on how to properly enjoy the dishes. His passion was contagious - you could feel how much pride he takes in every single plate that leaves the kitchen.
To top it off, they surprised us with a small birthday gift upon hearing our birthday was coming up. It wasn’t expected, but such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel so welcome and connected. It’s rare these days to find a restaurant where you feel like family the moment you walk in, and this was one of those rare gems.
If you’re anywhere nearby, please do yourself a favour and eat here. This is not just food, it’s an experience. You’ll leave with a full heart as well as a full stomach. THANK YOU, ASHISH! We hope to visit again, whenever...

It was the end of our first honeymoon week in Japan and we just had our best experience yet, great cooking that matches the best hospitality.
Ashish and his lovely wife both welcomed us with perfect English and helped us understand which menu options fits our Gluten free needs, two things that are quite hard to find in Japan.
The dishes caught the percise tastes we were familiar with from our visit in India, and then all the mood setting, manners, Sake, and japanse tea took us straight back to Japan. The whole experience was crafted in such great harmony, we just didn't want it to end.
After a great meal, accompanied with very good Sake, and finished with lovely japanese tea, Ashish recommended us to take a short walk to see Matsumoto's Castle at night, a very romantic & beautiful spot, and only a few blocks away.
This definitely was our best night in Japan so...

The food was incredible, so tasty. 🥘 Options for everyone, including Vegetarians like myself. 🥗 I had the vegetarian thali and it was mouth watering good. Everything was freshly made and warm. The paratha was healthy, fluffy and delicious. The mango lassie was perfection. You can tell they have so much pride in their food. Oh and the chai at the end of the meal - best chai I have ever had in my life. I never want to go back to coffee.
The lovely couple who owns the place were so friendly and interested in knowing who we are. They welcomed us with their food and hearts- many of the recipes are from the owner’s grandmother, from India. ❤️🌸 🇮🇳
