We visited at lunch time on a weekday.It seemed to be a popular restaurant and we had to wait for a while as the restaurant was packed. I had the standard natto hashed omelette. The flavor of natto and hashed sauce matched each other perfectly, and the taste was better than I expected. The fluffiness of the omelette is also excellent. I think the yuzu kosho accent and habanero mayonnaise added to the omelette further enhanced the deliciousness of the omelette. The retro atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely, but the wait staff's quick responses and smiles were also impressive.

Omurice speciality restaurant 🍴 went at lunchtime and the ketchup Omurice came with a very tasty salad with tender juicy ham slices and a mug of pork broth. The natto Omurice with a cheese layer was also very nice. I wouldn't say its suited to vegetarians though as I suspect the rice had small pork pieces inside and maybe cooked in the broth.

「洋食屋 花きゃべつ」はオムライスが自慢の洋食屋さんで、Webサイトの料理の写真がキレイ✨でとても美味しそうに見えたので👀、「水戸東照宮」→「弘道館」→「水戸城大手門」→「水戸城二の丸角櫓(すみやぐら)」と見学した後に訪れました❗️

百年ビーフシチューオムライス、チーズハヤシオムライスなども惹かれましたが、「オムカレー&ハンバーグ」￥1,230(税込)をいただきました❗️とても美味しかったです❗️✨😁👍

ただ、人気店のようで、土曜日の13時頃に訪れたので、もしかしたらタイミングが悪かったのかもしれませんが、30分くらい待ちました😅💦 店舗前(外)で待つ形ですが、他に5〜6組の方々が辛抱強く待たれてました😅💦

経路検索で訪れる人(自分もですが😅)、家族・グループで訪れる人、カウンターで写真📷を撮ったりなどしながら「一人飯」を楽しむ人、様々ですが、年齢層は高校生や20代くらいの若い人が多いように見受けられました👀

奥の座敷席に案内していただいたのですが、あまり換気が良くなさそうに感じたのと😅💦、隣の席が女子高生5人組で、マスク無しで大きな声で長居しているような感じでしたので😱💦、少し気になりました😅💦 カウンターやテーブル席のほうが安心かと思われます❗️

ランチタイムは11:00〜15:00(L.O.14:00)...
