A true taste of France in the heart of Nagano

We were genuinely impressed by this little gem of a French restaurant in Nagano. Despite being in Japan, the cuisine here is unmistakably and authentically French. I had the duck, and to my surprise, it was better than what I’ve had in some actual French restaurants—let alone your average European ones.

The wine selection was excellent and well thought out. The chef runs the whole show himself, and you can really tell—everything was prepared with care and precision. The attention to detail, both in the food and the atmosphere, made the experience stand out.

There’s no English menu, but a basic translation app was more than enough to get by. The chef was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at ease right away.

I was looking with my boyfriend for some good western restaurant after three weeks eating the amazing Japanese food we were starting to miss western food :) we look at many restaurant but only Kuland get our attention, atmosphere is amazing, I felt so privileged to have the chef cooking only for us and we had delicious and amazing food! I got an amazing starter with ham, fish and vegetable (all super fresh and gnammy) but the best part was the main, raclette with sausage and beautiful ham and salami, while my boyfriend got great venison meat! フレンチフルコースの5500円(税込)がとてもお得。【要予約】の店です。 食品類の値上げラッシュのご時世にもかかわらず、フランス料理のフルコースディナーが5500円で食べることができる、極めてコスパの良い店です。私は、居酒屋の宴会での飲み放題付き5000円よりもこちらのほうが断然お気に入りです。

5500円コースの内容は、前菜２品、パスタ１品、魚料理、肉料理、デザート、コーヒーor紅茶、小菓子です。 ２年ほど前の一時期に同じコースがパスタ無しになりましたが、今はパスタが復活しました。 ディナーはアラカルトメニューもありますが、コストパフォーマンスの満足度では、5500円コースディナーが一番のおすすめです。 ディナーコースは、5500円(税込)、8800円(税込)、13200円(税込)のコースがありますが、5500円コースで十分満足できます。 飲み物予算が他に、１品あたり600円～800円程度要ります。ボトルのワインは、4000円くらいからになります（居酒屋にあるような、安いけど旨くない、という変なワインは置いてない）。

参考に、ディナーコースで出てきた料理を、前菜、パスタ、魚料理、肉料理、デザートを登録しました。当方の写真技術が悪く、何回か食事したうちで写りの良いものを登録しました。

ランチは、ディナーと同じコース内容の5500円のコースと、皿数の少ない3300円(税込)コースがあります。写真参照です。
