1 star for service because the older lady Miyashita at the cashier who took our order rolled her eyes when we requested for normal cups for our coffee instead of disposable paper cups!!! They had a whole tray of normal cups right by the coffee machine but they refused to serve our coffee in them. They rather use the disposable cups that are bad for the environment and bad for health. 外の看板の「栗きんとん」がおいしそうで、初めて立ち寄りました。
レジ横にお菓子の見本があり「栗つづら」のボリュームたっぷりな感じに惹かれ、両方購入しました。
どちらも美味しいですが、「栗きんとん」は見た目も味も上品な感じがしました。
「栗つづら」の方が、私には好みでした。 見た目は羊羮のような長方形です。 砕いた栗がぎっしり詰まった感じで、栗の食感もあり食べごたえがあって、お得感があり大満足でした。 賞味期限は3～4日あるので、お土産にも良いと思います。
昼少し前でしたが、すでに「栗きんとん」は品薄で残り2つ程、「栗つづら」の方はたくさんありました。 「栗きんとん」目当ての方は、要注意です。
善光寺参りに行く楽しみが増えました♪
喫茶を利用している方が多かったので、次回は利用してみたいと思います。
