This Starbucks is located on Nakamise Dori Street of Zenkoji Temple. The interior is dimly lit but with plenty of light from the outside. And the wood of the pillars, floors, and beams, as well as the metal fittings and glass, are very geometric and well-proportioned. There are also some art works placed here and there as accents. There are also tatami mat seats. The structure is not too old-fashioned, but not overly elaborate, and I think it will be widely accepted by both Japanese and foreign tourists. The only way up to the second floor is by stairs, so people with disabilities or large luggage may want to take a seat on the first floor.
