A nice park with modern play equipment and a large green grass area surrounded by trees.

The trees are Cherry blossom so if you visit in April you will see them in bloom. They provide a nice shaded place to sit and enjoy a picnic.

There are two swings a slide and a fort for the kids to climb.

There are clean toilets at the edge of the park and a water fountain with drinking water.

Plenty of free parking is next to the park and a short distance from the park you can either visit Zenkoji Temple in one direction or a free zoo in the other. Both are located within a short (5 minute)...

Decided to do a day trip from Tokyo to Nagano in the hunt of cherry blossoms and I'm so glad I did.

15/04/25 The park is so pretty and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. The best part: it's not crowded at all!
