After visiting Peace Park, we stopped by nearby Sakanaya 海鮮丼専門店 さかな屋 for lunch.

We ordered the Sakanaya Turkish Rice set with hatoshi (shrimp toast) for 1400 yen which included a mini seafood bowl as well as fried horse mackerel. Note that "Turkish rice" in Nagasaki doesn't really mean it is from Turkey. They seem to call almost any rice dish this including rice with spaghetti. In the case of this restaurant, it was just a bowl of plain rice.

We also got an order of their Sashimi set for 1480 yen.

Waited for the shop to open at 6pm since i m in the area for sightseeing. Ordered a couple of items, one of it came with 2 pieces of torched tuna. A pity that a piece of fish bone was found in it. Placed it aside and continued with my meal. Hope the staff will be more careful next time as the food was...

Really nice staff and totally willing to accommodate for food allergies. I recommend being able to explain in Japanese, because they are not totally aware of obscure allergies or ingredients in...

Nice little sashimi restaurant! The fried fish was divine—not greasy at all. The kaisendon was also quite good! The staff were friendly and would check on you from time to time. Will go back for sure.
