I've been to several Indian restaurants across several countries. This place is one of the better ones I've tried. The Cheese Naan and Chicken Tikka (and Chicken Tandoori) are worth writing home about (10/10 no doubt). The rest was good, just not excellent or anything special. The Mango Lassi was also very good. One of the best Indian places I've ever been to, my only critique here is portions and price. The cheese and chicken carried super hard and the Mango Lassi was very good, but overall the meal did not seem balanced as are most other Indian restaurants. Despite the Naan and Chicken being very good, the curry was good, not great. The salad was like a kimchi salad or something and did not compliment the meal. The Yogurt was good too, but again, very small. It's a lunch special so I'll give them some grace, but the Chicken Tandoori I had to order seperately (2 pieces). Last critique was that there was no protein other than the tiny chicken tikka, despite how good it was. Flavor was exceptional for the good items which heavily influenced my review towards 5 stars, but I took a star away for lack of balance, lack of protein, and lack of value. If none of that bothers you, I'd recommend this place 1000%. If you know good Indian food, you'll know immediately once you walk in. I think they can get away with it because Indian food here is a novelty and...
Read moreVery Delicious Curry. You can choose spicyness on a scale from 0 (not spicy) to 50 (do not want to know). I took grade 3, which was labeled as 中辛 (medium spicyness), but it was spicy enough for me. Biggest plus for us was, that a children's launch set was available, for ¥750. It had reasonable big Naan, sweet-not-spicy Curry, a small salad and a drink included. We went on Saturday around noon, it wasn't too crowded. The restaurant is spacious and has many seats.
It's strange to write this about a Curry restaurant, but the salad dressing is super delicious. They actually sell it for ¥800 in store, which we opted to buy. They said it's hand made with organic ingredients.
2 Adults, 1Child, plus the salad dressing totalled at ¥4500 (¥3700 for the food), which I think is a bit on the pricy side for Indian curry in Japan, but it's very worth it.
Highly...
Read moreWe came for lunch today and ordered the chicken curry, butter chicken, and garlic naan. It is by far the best Indian food we’ve tried in Japan! The curry was not sugary sweet, unlike every other Indian restaurant we’ve tried across many cities. The naan was still a little bit sweet but it didn’t distract from the other flavors. The staff was very friendly and polite, and understood English. We came at around 12 and were seated right...
